Participants will learn how to provide basic life support, including airway management, breathing and circulation, CPR and how to use an AED.

Employees are often on the "front line" of an emergency situation. Their ability to respond quickly to injuries can save lives. This course teaches employees how to recognize everyday medical emergencies and care for an injury or illness until professional help arrives.

Professional Rescuers require increased training to effectively handle responding to emergencies. This in-depth course focuses on immediate life-threatening situations, and demonstrates how to respond quickly and effectively. 

As importantly, it provides real-world perspectives on how frequently these situations occur to help provide context and retain knowledge.  This NSC course meets Center for Disease Control, OSHA and National Fire Protection Agency guidelines.
